We celebrated Alex's makeup Covid graduation from West Chester University! Go Rams!

We adopted our first 2 cats, Feta and Olive! Alex was never a cat person but after meeting Matthew's cats—Mick, Diamond, and Bauer—she fell in love with cats!

For our first anniversary, we went to a 1-Michelin Star restaurant to start a tradition of going up a star each year. We quickly learned that we are not fancy restaurant people... We went home, DoorDashed burgers, and watched Jimmy Neutron after dinner!

Matthew graduated from Georgetown University (Go Hoyas!) and we moved to Pasadena, California where he started medical school!

We spent 4 amazing years in Pasadena!

We got engaged at Longwood Gardens! Matthew had both of our families there to celebrate with us!

We adopted Circe after she lost her home in the LA fires. We tried fostering to support the local animal shelters but failed immediately when we met Circe!

We returned back to the East Coast many times, but the best by far was coming home to watch the Eagles win the Super Bowl and storming Broad Street!!

Matthew visited Greece for the first time!

Match Day 2026 when we found out we would officially be moving back to the East Coast for residency—1 year in Philly and then 4 years in Boston!

Matthew graduated medical school and officially became Dr. Matthew Timothy Fisher, MD!

After the worst travel day of our lives, we finally got on the plane back to the East Coast!

We are so excited to officially get married and cannot wait for more moves, more adventures, and maybe some more cats along the way, too!
